This Christmas is one to be especially treasured. We in the United States of America are blessed. This country was founded on Judeo-Christian beliefs and principles. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States were grounded in this faith. We celebrate. Freedom of religion is one of those principles.
Around the world, Christians, many Muslims, and others of different faiths are under attack and being killed by radical Islamic terrorists. We need to both pray and fight back with all we have. We are, indeed, in a war of civilizations. Total defeat of radical Islam is the only option. Nothing less is acceptable.
