Administrator Zeldin:
There are two chemicals used in agriculture that should be banned.
Glyphosate (Roundup): It has been proven without any doubt that this chemical (pesticide) is dangerously harmful to both the environment and human health. Why the EPA has not banned it, I do not understand. Other countries have.
The second chemical or class of chemicals is neonicotinoids. This one is wiping out bees. And without bees = no food. This is another pesticide that should have been banned long ago. Why?
The EPA has a pretty good track record in many areas, but the management of pesticides is not one of those. I must wonder how much influence the agriculture chemical companies have. This is blatantly obvious, for example, with genetically engineered crops and glyphosate.
So, please, for the health of the people of the USA and of the environment, get about a careful examination of all pesticides (poisons) used for any purpose. We are the sickest nation on the planet, and I think it is in large part due to all of the chemicals US citizens are exposed to daily. Check this out with HHS Secretary Kennedy Jr.. I have a hunch he has an opinion to offer.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
