GOP Agenda

According to FOX NEWS, the legislative priorities for the US Congress between now and January 2019 when the Democrats take majority in the House of Representatives are budget resolution, border wall funding, immigration reform, tax cuts, and health care. This a really big bite to accomplish in such a short time, but it is now or never. The Congress is going to become a deadlocked mess with the House having a Democrat majority and the Senate a Republican majority. If these priorities are going to get done, it will take a Herculean effort on the part of leadership in both houses.

Let’s take a look at each of these “priorities”. The first is budget resolution. It seems to me this is the last of the priorities to get settled. About all else requires a consideration of money. The last Omnibus funding bill passed was a joke. One would have thought it to be a Democrat bill with the level of spending it contained. The goal needs to be a reduction of government spending with a heading toward a balance budget. Wouldn’t that be nice. Thanks to former President Obama, we are over 20 trillion dollars in debt.

The second is border wall funding. Congress needs to bite the bullet and fund the WALL, something they promised in the last two election cycles. This is something the public very strongly wants. The Caravans that have arrived at the southern US border with Mexico plus the ones coming make quite poignant the need for the wall. It should have been funded long ago. Concertina Nato Razor Wire and US troops are not the answer. Illegal immigration must be stopped. We do not need more young uneducated, unskilled, non-English speaking males.

Then we have immigration reform. The action of a San Francisco judge punctuates this need. The President must have the authority to protect this country. There needs to be an end to birthright citizenship, chain migration, and immigration by lottery. VISA overstays must be stopped. Immigration should be on a need and merit system. The time for mass migration into this country has long passed. Our population needs to stabilize and our needs are to train, educate, and care for American citizens. Yes, we have thousands of job openings, but those should be filled with American citizens, not more immigrants; legal or illegal.

The fourth is tax cuts. The President in recent rallies has promised another 10% tax cut for middle class tax payers. Easy, doable, and should be quickly passed if the GOP wants to continue to have the support it is experiencing from the middle class. In other words, Congress needs to put money where their mouth is.

Finally, health care. This was a sticky one. Senator John McCain betrayed the country with his thumbs down vote. There subsequently has been a struggle to take apart ObamaCare piece by piece. This needs to be finished with the expansion of private insurance company based plans across state lines under such terms that will reduce health care costs and have full coverage for those having existing conditions. This is a major challenge to get done.

That’s it. The next few weeks will tell the tale. I wonder if the GOP is up to the task. We shall see.

The “Caravans”

The hordes may be coming.

Venezuela may seem far from the United State of America, but is it? We are already seeing thousands of people migrating north through Mexico from the Central American countries of Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua and an already large number from Mexico itself. The southern border of the United States has been historically porous; millions have crossed it illegally and are literally hiding out somewhere in our country. It has been reported that over 100 countries are represented presently in our detention facilities, so people we know nothing about are coming from all over the world.

And why the concern about Venezuela? Venezuela is a failed state. Millions have already fled that country. They have gone mostly to Brazil and Columbia and, yes, to the United States of America one way or another. Columbia sits at the southern end of Central America as the north most country in South America and adjacent to Venezuela. Are you beginning to get the picture. There will continue to build a pressure for large populations to migrate.Where will they want to end up: the USA, the land of milk and honey.

Big problem. Too many people. Our social structure will be irreparably damaged by the needs and wants of thousands upon thousands of people we know nothing about. But now there may be a greater worry. Contagion from Venezuela’s economic meltdown is starting to spread to neighboring countries — not financially, but literally in the form of potentially deadly diseases carried among millions of refugees.

Venezuela’s health care system has collapsed. That country has become an incubator for malaria, yellow fever, diphtheria, dengue fever, and tuberculosis as well as for AIDS. Measles has returned. Dr. Irene Bosch, a research scientist who has studied infectious diseases in Columbia and Venezuela with the U.S. National Institutes of Health has said the current picture is one of a “perfect storm condition for a catastrophic medical situation”. People are contracting more than one disease at a time.

Since 2014, over 2.3 million Venezuelans have left that country. After Brazil and Colombia have had their fill, you can bet eyes will be turned northward past Central America, past Mexico, and become focused upon the United State of America, if they have not already.

If we want to keep our country, we must do whatever is necessary to prevent migration of millions from south of our border into the United States. The caravans are really tokens of what will come. Most are young men: uneducated, unskilled, and non-English speaking. Few are women and children or families. Doubt this? Just look at the pictures we seen every day in the media. Democrats seem to be totally, or more likely politically, blind to the truth about who is in those caravans.

In truth, we do not need more and more immigrants. The time for massive immigration into the United States is long past. Yes, we have tens of thousands of job openings. The need is for skilled and/or educated people to fill those jobs. That is not what is in the caravans. We need to focus on training our own citizens, not importing from elsewhere. That is what will keep America strong.

Honduran Mob

A Honduran mob is marching our way waving their fists and the Honduran flag. They intend to swarm through our borders illegally. They blew through Mexican forces attempting to stop them. Their numbers have swollen from 2000 to 7000.

Virtue signaling Progressives and Democrats clamor these are people looking for work and a better life. America is a wealthy country with jobs to spare, they declare. They tell us to open our hearts and borders. They indignantly remind us—America is a land of immigrants.

Who are we to believe? Border patrol agents tell us our capacity to process illegal aliens is beyond capacity and an average of 6000 illegals are caught every day. The courts are swamped and backed up. Our laws demand illegals be put in ankle bracelets and given a court date to adjudicate their claims. Once released, illegals cut off their ankle bracelets and disappear into our country. They don’t show up for court.

Should we believe the Nicaraguan woman who followed the rules to gain entrance to our country? She warns, “This is an invasion of our country. We don’t know who these people are. They aren’t carrying American flags. They are carrying Honduran flags. These people say they want jobs. They only want free benefits. We can’t allow this to happen.”

Do we believe our own eyes? When stopped on the bridge into Mexico, many retreated to the shores of the river. Main Stream Media told us they made the rafts we saw them riding across the river. How often have you seen large inner tubes and well cut boards lying around on riverbanks? Clearly these were paid for and made by those seeking to fund this mob. Videos show person after person being handed cash. Main Stream Media describes this mob as families seeking a better life. Look again. It is a sea of young males with a few women and children interspersed here and there. Corruption and skullduggery are surely afoot—but paid for by whom?

This nonsense HAS to stop. Our country admits more legal immigrants than any country in the world. Illegal aliens don’t contribute to the health and growth of our nation. They burden the benefit system paid for by our tax dollars and intended to help needy Americans. There’s no magic money tree to fund the growing costs of illegals.

It is time to stop listening to those who tell us we can afford all these illegals because we are a wealthy nation. The truth is we are teetering under the weight of a $21.5 trillion dollar debt and an unknown amount of unfunded mandates. Don’t forget it was Obama who doubled that debt.

The fault for our insane immigration policies lies at the feet of Congress. President Trump offered to help the Dreamers in exchange for funds to build the Wall. The “compassionate” Democrats said no. Speaker Ryan shamefully put three billion dollars into this year’s budget and next to build the Wall—far short of the 25 billion needed. Congress has failed to pass legislation ending chain migration, lottery migration, and catch and release. It refuses to fund the Wall. It refuses to mandate immediate turn back of any illegal aliens caught without need for court action.

President Trump inherited an economy so anemic most Americans needed multiple part-time jobs to make ends meet. We now have a surplus of jobs. We also have a long line of people waiting to immigrate legally. We must not surrender those jobs to the uneducated, unskilled, non-English speaking mob threatening our border.

President Trump has declared he will close our southern border and use regular military forces to stop this mob, if necessary. Congress should call an emergency session to fix our broken immigration laws. If we fail to stop this hoard, many more will follow and the sovereignty of the United States will be lost forever.

Women Respected?

Went to Starbucks this afternoon to purchase a couple of fraps. This is a treat we enjoy every once in a while. When walking in the door, I noticed a couple sitting at a table; both on computers. Both appeared to be pretty young, like in their 20’s or 30’s. The male was dressed in typical American style; informal, jeans, etc.. He had a neatly trimmed beard. Nothing unusual.

On the other hand, the female was covered from head to foot with draped cloth. She had only her eyes and hands showing. I admit I was a bit startled to see this in our town. I couldn’t call her dress a burka but it may as well have been. My reaction: not good.

In fact, I wanted to head over to the male and say this was disgusting. Muslim women are very frequently treated as chattel, not equal to their male companions. To me, this is degrading, demeaning, and a form of slavery of women. I notice this, too, when ever seeing on television a picture of prayer time in a mosque. No women present, only “superior to thou” men. Ridiculous. It seems to me that many sects of the Muslim faith are about 2,000 years behind times. They live in the Middle Ages with practices common to that era.

I have another picture burned into my memory. It was of a man, woman, and children walking down a sidewalk in Dearborn, Michigan. The man was about 10 steps ahead of the rest of the family; too good or superior to walk side-by-side with his wife and children. Again, disgusting.

I have to admit I have much concern about any increase in Islam believers in the United States. There are far too many that would impose Sharia law rather than accept the Constitution of the United States as the ultimate law authority in our country. I believe Sharia law is already operating behind closed doors in some communities.

The true feminists of the US need to take a real hard look at what is going on here. Disrespected women. No assimilation to USA values, customs, and norms. Does this make me “Islamophobic”? Are my concerns unwarranted? You decide.

Letter from a German Nurse

[A Nurse in Germany sends a message to the world. Read this! President Trump is trying to take care of America.]

Nurse says…

Yesterday, at the hospital, we had a meeting about how the situation here and at other Munich hospitals is unsustainable. Clinics cannot handle the number of migrant medical emergencies, so they are starting to send everything to the main hospitals.

Many Muslims are refusing treatment by female staff, and we women are now refusing to go among those migrants! Relations between staff and migrants are going from bad to worse. Since last weekend, migrants going to the hospitals must be accompanied by police with K-9 units.

Many migrants have AIDS, syphilis, open TB and many exotic diseases that we in Europe do not know how to treat.

If they receive a prescription to the pharmacy, they suddenly learn they have to pay with cash. This leads to unbelievable outbursts, especially when it is about drugs for the children. They abandon the children with pharmacy staff with the words: “So, cure them here yourselves!” So the police are not just guarding the clinics and hospitals, but also the large pharmacies.

We ask openly where are all those who welcomed the migrants in front of TV cameras with signs at train stations? Yes, for now, the border has been closed, but a million of them are already here and we will definitely not be able to get rid of them.

Until now, the number of unemployed in Germany was 2.2 million. Not it will be at least 3.5 million. Most of these people are completely unemployable. Only a small minimum of them have any education. What is more, their women usually do not work at all. I estimate that one in ten is pregnant. Hundreds of thousands of them have brought along infants and little kids under six, many emaciated and very needy. If this continues and Germany re-opens its borders, I am going home to the Czech Republic. Nobody can keep me here in this situation, not even for double the salary back home. I came to Germany to work, not to Africa or the Middle East!
Even the professor who heads our department told us how sad it makes him to see the cleaning woman, who has cleaned every day for years for 800 Euro’s and then meets crowds of young men in the hallways who just wait with their hands outstretched, wanting everything for free, and when they don’t get it they throw a fit.

I really don’t need this! But I am afraid that if I return home, at some point it will be the same in the Czech Republic. If the Germans, with their systems, cannot handle this, then guaranteed back home will be total chaos…

You — who have not come in contact with these people have absolutely no idea what kind of badly behaved desperadoes these people are, and how Muslims act superior to our staff, regarding their religious accommodation.
For now, the local hospital staff have not come down with the diseases these people brought here, but with so many hundreds of patients every day of this is just a question of time. In a hospital near the Rhine, migrants attacked the staff with knives after they had handed over an 8-month-old on the brink of death, who they’d dragged across half of Europe for three months. The child died two days later, despite having received top care at one of the best pediatric clinics in Germany. The pediatric physician had to undergo surgery and the two nurses are recovering in the ICU. Nobody was punished.

The local press is forbidden to write about it, so we can only inform you through email. What would have happened to a German if he had stabbed the doctor and nurses with a knife? Or if he had flung his own syphilis-infected urine into a nurses face and so threatened her with infection? At a minimum he would have gone straight to jail and later to court. With these people so far, nothing has happened.

And so I ask: Where are all those greeters and receivers from the train stations? Sitting pretty at home, enjoying their uncomplicated, safe lives. If it were up to me, I would round up all those greeters and bring them here first to our hospitals emergency ward as attendants! Then in to one of the buildings housing the migrants, so they can really look after them themselves, without armed police and police dogs, who sadly today are in every hospital here in Bavaria.

Immigration Revisited

The citizens of the United States have a right to be angry. The laws about immigration passed by earlier Congresses are idiotic and self defeating. What were they thinking or could it be they were politically self serving? The worst are those that established chain migration where one immigrant could bring into our country dozens of relatives we know virtually nothing about and the one that established the practice of immigration by lottery. Both are insane. As President Trump has said, countries don’t put their best into the lottery system and in chain migration who knows who, including criminals and terrorists, are allowed in.

Now the big debate is about minors: unaccompanied “children” and those brought in illegally by parents. The solution to the “family” (i.e. father and/or mother with children) is very easy. Turn them around 180 degrees at the border and send them back to the country from which they came, immediately. Those minors that come alone need to be rounded up, cleaned up, fed, clothed, and then taken back to the country from which they came. No exceptions to those who cross the border illegally.

The separation of “children” from illegal alien parents has been a policy for many years. President Obama tried to hide the problem. And think about it, US citizens are separated from their children if arrested for a crime. Crossing the US border without authorization is a crime. Big surprise.

The so-called asylum laws must be revised. Potential immigrants that follow the law and show up at legal ports of entry should not be given asylum just because the country of origin is a mess. Most such countries are over populated, have corrupt governments, and are poor. The United States of America cannot be the Shanghai La for the world. Take a look at what has happened to the European countries that opened wide the door to immigration from countries in the Middle East and Africa. They have been transformed in most negative ways. Cultures are in the process of being lost. Crime rates are up. Enclaves of particularly Muslim immigrants have formed that even law enforcement is afraid to visit. If allowed, our country will experience the same only from hordes of immigrants from Central America and Mexico along with those who sneak in from other parts of the world.

The truth is the USA does not “need” more immigrants. Our population needs to stabilized at present levels to be sustainable for our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. This is not 200 years ago when the country offered wide open spaces and opportunities, assuming you have total disregard for what was done to the Native Americans. Those times have long passed.

Time to close the door. Build the wall and be very selective about who comes into the United States by whatever means, particularly to live permanently. Merit based immigration is the only answer and then only as a real need arises.

The political posturing must stop. The wants of those who demand open borders have to be blocked. Those include the multi-national corporations who want a constant supply of cheap labor. Those include sectors of corporate/industrial agriculture and construction as well. And they include the Democrats who want to promote a socialist country.

Congress has a chance to clean up the mess earlier Congresses created. Will they have the stature to do so. We shall see soon.

Immigration Continued

Kynes, a fictional “planetologist” from the Dunes universe, has hit the nail right on the head. Too many people on a planet floating in the vast expanse of space, like Earth, leads to collapse of the supporting ecosystem and a race to the bottom for the quality of life. Ultimately, human life descends to the base needs of food, water, and shelter.

The United States of America is at a decision point. Population expansion and immigration pressures from all over the world are at our doorstep. We will face up to them or go down the road to eventual degradation if we have not already stepped foot on that road. The bold fact is that the United States of America does not need additional numbers of people. We need to be concentrating on elevating the quality of life for those already American citizens, not bringing more and more people in from other parts of the world.

Congress is in the process of playing games with the future of the country and the lives of our citizens. President Trump has already gone well beyond “compromise” with his four pillars of immigration policy reform. He has taken the position he will accept allowing nearly two million illegal immigrants a path not only to residency but to citizenship in exchange for building the southern border wall, ending the incredibly insane visa lottery program, and ending or severely curtailing chain migration. He has gone as far as he should go and maybe beyond; period. There are those of us who believe he has gone too far already in a willingness to appease or “compromise”.

The road block seems to be the U.S. Senate where presently 60 votes or more are required to pass any new immigration legislation. This matter is too critical to allow this. The future health or likely survival of this country is at stake. If there was an army at our door like was the case with World War II, we would not hesitate to take whatever action was required. We are at a similar point whether recognized or not. It is time for the U.S. Senate to face up and change its rules.

The success of passage of meaningful and tough immigration legislation that mirrors what has been proposed by President Donald Trump is in the hands of one person: Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. McConnell is the road block. He is the one stopping the elimination of the 60 vote rule, part of which was eliminated by the Democrats when they controlled the Senate. The rest needs to now go. If it doesn’t, the future of the United States of America is in jeopardy and should be laid at the feet of McConnell and the Republicans. No excuses. And God help us if Democrats ever again gain control of Congress.

DACA dilemma

Stupid, insane, dangerous, Visa lottery, chain migration, anchor babies, DACA, suicidal: words that go together! Our immigration system is broken.
A whole cottage industry has sprung up around “anchor babies”. Illegal entry into the USA of pregnant women is expedited by criminals for profit. The women and their babies receive “free” medical care and then dependent child support under the Welfare system. The baby, a US citizen, and parents are allowed permanent residence.

Most recently, Democrats have artificially elevated DACA to a crisis. Yes, we are faced with what to do with the alleged 800,000 illegal aliens in the DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program. The Center for Immigration Studies estimates the real number that are eligible or included is closer to 3.6 million.

In 2012, then President Obama decreed anyone in DACA would be allowed to stay in the USA without fear of deportation. He said he did not need Congress. He illegally acted with the stroke of his pen. Obama behaved as king or dictator. Now, we have the notorious 9th Circuit Court illegally blocking the ending of illegal DACA.

President Trump refused to extend this illegal program beyond six months. He said Congress was responsible for creating immigration law, not the President. He and Republicans have indicated a willingness to accept a permanent DACA solution including provisions for remaining in the US in return for funding of the border wall and ending chain migration and the immigration lottery system.

Democrats decided full amnesty for all in DACA is important enough to them that they shut down the federal government putting our nation’s security at risk. In return, they are not willing to end chain migration, the lottery system, or provide sufficient funding for the wall; all for recruitment of foreign born potential voters. No one is fooled. Their actions have nothing to do with compassion but rather with politics.

I propose no deportation for DACA high school grads who are fluent in English and who are in added education (college or technical school) AND graduate or have a productive job or who have served in the military. Deport all currently on public assistance programs or who commit a crime.
Any plan must be tightly predicated on funding of the wall and the ending of the anchor baby provision, chain migration, and the immigration lottery. Our country must control its border to prevent illegal immigration and stem the flow of drugs. The drugs are killing us and we must know who wants into the United States.

For those who cry we are a nation of immigrants, the immigration of the 19th and 20th centuries is not the same as today. There is no shortage of potential workers. We have over 90 million citizens out of the work force. They deserve priority. And, earlier immigrants made every effort to assimilate. That is no longer a given.

As citizens, we have been incredibly naive and negligent too long. It is past time to drastically reduce overall immigration and put any immigration there is on a merit based system that benefits our country economically and culturally. We are and will continue to be the compassionate melting pot of the world; not suckers.

No Truth Told

The citizens of this country have been lied to or misled by Presidents and Congress for at least the past 24 years. These years include the presidencies of William Jefferson Clinton, George Walker Bush, and Barack Hussein Obama. It includes times when Democrats had total control of Congress and when Republicans did. It includes times when Congressional control was split between political parties. All are to blame. All lied or mislead to one degree or another.
The USA is in a mess. Now we have an “outsider” President who is trying to deal with the mess left from 24 years of lousy and many times completely incompetent or self serving governing. Too many in the “swamp” of Washington, DC, have been there to feather their own nests and those of their corporate or donor friends. We have a country that is nearly 20 trillion dollars in debt and growing by millions every minute. We have a country inundated with over 11 million illegal aliens with over 90 million of our own citizens out of the work force because they can not find jobs. We have millions that are underemployed.
We have a military expected to protect us from foreign threats using equipment and planes from as old as the 1960’s. At Grissom Air Force Base there is a shop where parts for air force tankers are hand fabricated because conventional repair parts are no longer available. We have 3 out of 58 brigades of warriors in combat readiness at a time when worldly threats abound. We have air planes that will not fly until parts are scavenged from air “grave yards” and museums.
Wages for the middle class have been stagnant for nearly two decades for those that can even find work. The “Elite” have taken care of themselves. Company workers at all levels that are older, experienced, and experts at what they do have been forced out, laid off or dumped in favor of younger, lower wage/salaried workers; many from such as the H1-B Visa immigrant crowd; not even US citizens.
We have lost 60,000 or more factories to foreign countries.
We have a health care system that is failing and will implode in the near future if not fixed or replaced.
We have been telling everyone they need to be college educated, then saddle graduates with unmanageable debt for those who can even find jobs in chosen fields.
We allow illegal aliens to drive on our highways; most without insurance. Some states like California grant drivers licenses. We allow illegal aliens to utilize tax supported social services such as food stamps and Medicaid and subsidized housing. We allow illegal aliens to drain food bank resources when we have US citizens who are hungry every day. We allow illegal aliens to hold jobs at low wages and take jobs away from citizens. We even allow illegal aliens to vote in some states. And, we flood the skilled job market with H1-B visa immigrants and require job displaced US citizens train their immigrant replacements whether those immigrants are to be residents or return to foreign countries taking the jobs with them. We ship jobs overseas to such as India, Pakistan, South Korea, and even China to find “cheaper” labor. For the same reasons, we build factories and ship jobs to Mexico.
We have been the ultimate suckers that build foreign nations at our own expense. It has been like a blood letting. Guess what; the patient is dying. The USA is on an unsustainable path. We have been the most giving, most welcoming, and generous people on the planet. We have allowed politicians and the main stream media to turn these virtues into self destruction. And anyone who dares to speak out that we are headed in the wrong, self destructive direction is labeled xenophobic, deplorable, racist, or worse.
What in the hell is wrong with us. The only way out of the MESS is for Americans to roll up our sleeves, come together, and get to work to create solutions that promote and protect OUR country, the United States of America. We must drop “Democrat” and “Republican” and “Liberal” and “Conservative”. We are all in the same boat. If we do not row together, we will sink together.
Nobody has told us the truth.

Democrats Put USA in Danger

Democrats and their allies are putting the United States of America in serious danger. Their tactics of delay, demagoguery, and disruption of the function of the Executive Branch of our federal government put the American people on the front line as targets for harm and maybe even death. No one knows what the delay in closing immigration and travel from seven of the world’s worst hotbeds of Islamic radical terrorism to this country has done. One can only imagine the clerics of ISIS who preach jihad have smiles from ear to ear about how stupid Democrats are. As of now, the immigration flood gates are open. It is the height of naivete to believe that will not be fully exploited. Maybe it will take another domestic catastrophe to fully awaken the public and put a stop to the insanity. Homeland Security Secretary Kelly said we will not know anything is wrong until it “just goes BOOM”.
The law is crystal clear. The President of the United States has the power to stop immigration from anywhere and for any reason. The law is as follows: “Whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens or any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, [the president] may by proclamation and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate,” reads the relevant statute.
Yet we have a Washington state federal court judge who has decided he knows best. He has blocked the President’s executive order to stop immigration temporarily from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. Surely the President knows more about the risks of doing nothing over that of a single Federal judge, Judge James Robart.
Then we have the District Court of Appeals in California. That court has had more reversals than any in the country when decisions have been pushed up to the Supreme Court. And all of this plays out on the west coast of the country in states that voted for Hillary Clinton for President and have such as Congressional representation as  Representative Maxine Waters (D) who thinks Russia is about to invade Korea and Representative Nancy Polosi (D) who thinks President Bush still holds office. Senile?
The antics of Democrats in the US Senate are not just political theater. They are acts of delay and subterfuge bordering on treasonous. The United States of America needs a full Presidential cabinet to properly function. Donald J. Trump as the Republican nominee won the office of the Presidency. The majority of both houses of Congress are held by Republicans as are the majority of governorships and legislative bodies of the 50 states. The voters have chosen. It is past time for Democrats to cease the delays… delays…. DELAYS. The acts of even not showing up for hearings or votes tell the tale of a Party that deserves to be ostracized and shunned. This goes for paid “protesters” and perpetrators of fake news: many of the main stream media.
There was a recent meeting of Democrat large donors and supporters in Florida sponsored by David Brock, the founder of Media Matters. They are determined to undermine the Trump administration with everything they have. This includes an army of paid agitators, legislative tactics, lawsuits to tie up courts, even impeachment of President Trump, and on and on. The people cannot let this happen. We must fight back by exposing all of this to the light of day. This exposure includes actions of many in the mass media who have become propagandists rather than journalists. The goal is to hurt President Trump in any way possible. It makes no difference if the American people are put in danger. The Democrat Party and its allies are willing to gamble with your life. The president is not.
In Indiana, we have one Democrat US Senator, Joe Donnelly, and one Republican, Todd Young . In the House of Representatives, Indiana has 9 representatives of which only 2 are Democrats, Andre Carson and Peter Visclosky. The Senate is the hold up in getting the administration staffed with a full Presidential cabinet. Donnelly voted against Rex Tillerson for Secretary of State, against Senator Jeff Sessions for Attorney General and against Betsy DeVos for Secretary of Education.
Carson and Visclosky are not vulnerable, but Senator Joe Donnelly is. His Senatorial seat is up for election in November 2018. The State of Indiana voters went heavily for President Donald Trump, elected Senator Todd Young (R) over former Senator Evan Bayh (D) who the voters saw through completely, and elected 7 Republican Representatives verses 2 Democrats. The two Democrats represent a part of inner city Indianapolis and the district closest to Chicago in Northwest Indiana. No surprise.
It is time for Indiana’s one Democrat senator to remove himself completely from the “Hate Trump Train” and get on the “American Train”. It is time for Democrats to accept the results of an election and stop the objections and Kabuki theater. The president and the country deserve a full, functional cabinet.  Donnelly needs to show up and vote “yes” for cabinet nominees. If he does not, the voters should remember come 2018.
